We are looking for a Personal Assistant to support the Managing Director of our newly merged Audiences, Brand and Communications team. In addition to support the Managing Director, you will be central to making the new function run smoothly and to helping to create the team culture.
The team works across our company, including with our eight publishing houses, so you can expect it to be fast-paced, dynamic and varied. You will support on daily tasks including diary management, organising key departmental events and creating presentations. You will be the key connection across our team of 80 working with the Managing Director to foster an inclusive, creative and fun team culture.
No day will be the same. We work in a highly responsive environment so we are looking for someone who is able to juggle multiple priorities, being able to distinguish between urgent and important, and work at pace. You will need to be hyper organised, with an ability to take initiative and to stay calm. We are looking for someone who is trustworthy and discreet.
You will be the first point of contact for our team, so you will need to be confident communicating with a wide range of people at all levels across our company. Publishing is about people so you will enjoy making connections and building relationships.
Training for publishing-specific systems will be provided, but you'll be a fast learner and confident in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint.
We are currently working remotely but expect this role to transition back into our new Embassy Gardens office in Vauxhall over the next few months. This is a full-time position and interviews will be conducted over video call.
This is not an entry-level role: if you have previous experience in administration, have supported senior directors in the smooth running of their day-to-day and are now keen to work in a media/entertainment environment, this is the role for you.
