We are looking for a smart, efficient, emotionally intelligent and dynamic new PA to our Editor in Chief (and department head) who will also double up as an editorial assistant across the different publications in our division when necessary.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • They will be an excellent people-person, and ambitious - previous holders of the position have all moved up into Managing Editor or similar roles.
  • The successful candidate will be able to deal with a job that can be quite intense, although never dull, and be confident in dealing with arrangements in numerous countries simultaneously.
  • Ability to juggle replying to client emails, organising overseas travel, collecting visas, making coffee and updating contents lists simultaneously are essential.

  • Enthusiasm, efficiency, a passion for working in the media industry and an ability to juggle replying to client emails, organising overseas travel, collecting visas, making coffee, taking part in contents meetings and updating contents lists simultaneously are essential.
  • The successful candidate will be able to deal with a job that can be quite intense, although never dull, and be able to to plan ahead and organise. They will be an excellent people-person, and ambitious, as this is an excellent all-round introduction to every aspect of media from the commercial to the editorial. There will be opportunities to write and contribute ideas.
  • The ability to write excellent emails and to deal with high-octane clients in an unflustered manner, is a requirement. It would also suit someone interested in gaining as much as possible out of the position by attending evening events, parties etc with the team or on their own.
