The Role
We are looking for a Paid Marketing Manager to join our world-class Growth team. Reporting to the Performance Marketing Senior Manager, the Paid Marketing Manager will accelerate our rapidly growing community of buyers and sellers by driving the day to day execution and optimisation of paid marketing activity mainly across acquisition and retention, but from time to time on brand and consideration too.
This person needs to be confident at exploring new ground breaking activations and be proactive in everything they do.
The Paid Marketing Manager will work on the formation and implementation of the digital marketing strategy. We are looking for someone innovative with attention to detail to ensure excellent execution of the paid marketing campaigns with a special focus on performance marketing social channels.
We are looking for someone that loves data and is data driven as this person will also be responsible for conducting in-depth analysis to optimise our activity, drive our test & learn plan forward and report back to the business on the impact of this activity.
We are also looking for a team player who loves collaborating cross-functionally as this role is in the centre of things and will work closely with brand, content, creative teams, and market reps.
Responsibilities
This person will take ownership of selected paid marketing activity end-to-end including:
  • Own the performance of digital marketing activity for their market.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Responsible for Media Plan compilation and execution.
  • Data exploration in order to further develop activity and troubleshoot any problems.
  • Manage our creative framework with a test-and-learn mindset.
  • Optimise all activity in order to meet growth marketing goals.
  • Own reporting of digital marketing for your market, covering the top and bottom-funnel KPI’s.
  • Develop processes in order to streamline cross-functional activity.
  • Seek and explore all new digital marketing opportunities.
  • Manage 3rd party agencies
  • Drive and further develop our testing plan.
  • Identify and communicate insights cross-functionally.
Requirements
  • Passionate about performance and brand marketing and curious about new strategies and channels to build a digitally engaged audience.
  • Strong strategic mindset - you must be able to think big and small picture at the same time.
  • Advanced knowledge of all key social platforms is critical.
  • Love of all things data. Strong analytical capabilities and a Google Sheet / Excel /Looker user are a must.
  • Proactive and eager to learn attitude, with the capacity for independent initiative.

  • Previous experience on App first businesses
  • Interested in Millennial and Gen-Z behaviours and attitudes
  • Go the extra mile with data - knowledge of SQL, Python, etc.
  • Experience across multiple brand and performance channels ( Social Networks, Video, Retargeting, PPC, Affiliate, etc).
  • Team management and development experience
  • Affinity for Depop and the streetwear/vintage/clothing world
  • Fluent in French and/or German
