As the Paid Social Media Exec & Analyst you’ll be reporting into the VP of Marketing and have responsibility for 2 areas of the business: 1) helping Threads acquire new customers, as well as foster existing through Paid-Social activity 2) be the go-to person for all Social insights and analytics across our many Social platforms. You will be responsible for helping develop the strategy, plan and execution of our paid marketing efforts across Social media. As the Paid Social Exec & Analyst you will be well-versed in all the latest paid-marketing product launches across all key Social platforms and help leverage these advertising products to Threads’ advantage. This is a key role for Threads and the marketing department to help drive our reach, grow our impressions, drive fan following, and ultimately drive enquiries to the business off the back of promoting the incredible content we produce.
Manage, from inception to execution the day-to-day ‘Paid-For’ Social activity. Help create the overall acquisition strategy, build out the targeting audiences and cohorts to go after and market to, set up the campaigns within FB Ad Manager and other marketing platforms, execute weekly campaigns and report post-campaign-analyses back to the business.
Obtain, harvest, and interrogate every customer metric within Social to build out as many insights as possible for the Marketing department. Utilise the Social platforms to their fullest from an insights perspective, developing world-class insights dashboards for the team.
Build out the ‘Test. Learn. Scale.’ Model for ‘Paid-Social’ activity. Develop target audiences from broad custom audiences and lookalikes, to more sophisticated geographical cohorts and VIP segments. Create targeting expertise within Threads to help reach UHNW millennials.
Build out an acquisition calendar to help support key Sales periods. Work with the Creative team to develop outstanding world-class content to promote, creating the briefs and overseeing production through to final content output.
Constantly question and interrogate the marketing and business KPIs. Work with Tech and Finance to help build out attribution and contribution models to help Threads understand marketing ROI.
Through Paid-Media help build out new audiences to penetrate and grow new markets.
Set up promotional campaigns to help push Threads-Buy product. Help push enquiries and sales of ‘hot product’.
Help drive awareness and reach of new Threads accounts launched across H2, 2019
Manage the creative development, campaign set up in FB Ad Manager and trafficking of campaigns through to execution, evaluation and recommended next steps.
Analytics - Track and measure engagement, growth and conversions as a result of community conversations. Use data collected to scale growth, update strategies and also roll out Best Practice.
Help improve the tracking of Threads activity from display impressions through to sales.
2-3 years experience in Paid-Social, Analytics and Social Media, executing campaign across multiple Social channels.
An excellent understanding of all the key social media platforms.
An expert understanding of Paid-for Social Media, FB Ad Manager and seasoned in executing campaigns from start to finish.
Significant experience in creating audiences and cohorts within FB Ad Manager. Excellent understanding of all the features and functionality and tools available via FB. and Instagram to help promote our brand and products.
Excellent knowledge of Paid-Social tools available to help improve campaign performance.
A keen eye for detail, great measurement and post campaign analysis skills.
Experience in managing and executing paid-social campaigns from strategic inception to reporting of results and everything in between. Resourcing, briefing, planning and execution.
Good strategic thinker, ability to think outside the box to solve day to day issues. Strength to deal with ambiguity, problem solve and stay calm when pressure is on.
Good commercial skills. Ability to understand the unit economics of a media buy and evaluate ROI across a range of KPIs.
Great stakeholder management. Ensuring all departments can maximise and leverage the benefit of Paid-Social.
Great communication and presentation skills. Ability to hold their own outside of the Threads office when presenting to prospective partners. Act as a Brand ambassador at all times.
Strong eye for good creative. Good understanding of creative advertising principles from proposition, hierarchy of information, narrative, copywriting and CTAs.
Proven ability to work to stringent deadlines and exceptional eye for detail.
Excellent work ethic. Pro-active and able to show initiative/ideas to constantly improve and drive Threads forward
