Location: Angel, relocating to Stratford in Oct 2019 (some home-working flex available)
Salary: Circa £30k - £35k depending on experience + benefits

As a Partnerships Manager you will be responsible to engage with our with our partnered portfolio and associated external stakeholders not only to ensure compliance, but to add value to our technologies in order to maximise patient benefit derived.
As a Partnerships Manager you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of licensing and spin-out projects and developing relationships with our partners.

Source information on each of our projects
Ensure compliance within your allocated portfolio
Accelerate delivery of patient benefit including by proactively engaging with external stakeholders to overcome any related challenges
Attend to matters of finance seeking to ensure that the Charity receives all amounts due, thus allowing CRUK to invest in further research programmes in an evergreen mode
Provide reports and updates to the senior management and the Board
Be part of the team that is the point of contact for our spin-out and equity portfolio
What skills are you looking for?
You’ll be able to bring to the role:
A strong Life Sciences focus from a Life Sciences, Bioinformatics or Artificial Intelligence/Big Data education, ideally MSc level or higher
Strong internal and external relationship building and stakeholder management skills
Experience of managing multiple diverse projects
Experience with/knowledge of technology transfer, biotech/pharma or non-profit compliance is beneficial
Experience of interpreting and understanding contractual agreements is beneficial
Ideally, you’ll also be able to demonstrate excellent scientific knowledge, great organisational skills, and experience of collaborative and cross-functional working.
