Facebook's Product Data Operations team is seeking a Strategy Specialist to develop and understand the need for large scale projects focused on driving improvements to our core products. The Product Data Operations team supports a variety of products, all of which support major product initiatives by Facebook. Our mission is to empower product to drive the best possible user experience for the Facebook platform. This role requires organizational drive, process improvement skills, an analytical mindset, cross-functional collaboration skills, leadership ability, project management experience, and an interest in driving product quality.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage and scope out multiple projects in a highly cross-functional environment.
 
  • Work with product partners on business needs and project scoping.
 
 
  • Drive workflow/project success metrics and timeline.
 
 
  • Engage in strategic discussions to identify problems, measure and improve the quality of workflows.
 
 
  • Identify opportunities to improve tooling and implement scalable solutions.
 
 
  • Help establish team goals and work with multiple stakeholders on strategies for executing, measuring progress, and reporting results.
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • 1+ years of industry experience in consumer-oriented product environment, consulting, or operations role
 
  • Experience working independently and a track record of taking initiative
 
 
  • Communication and presentation experience
 
 
  • Experience analyzing and solving problems
 
 
  • Experience with Excel
 
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree
 
  • Experience with SQL
 
 
  • Understanding of Facebook and Instagram
 
 
  • Experience working with data sets
