About You
You will be an ambitious editorial or creative assistant, who can lend a hand to a busy and innovative team. You will have an interest in the creative and editorial world. You will not be afraid to take the intiative, rally troops and apply common sense and quick decision making in a pressured environment. You will be a bright, positive and hard working person, with a passion for fashion, craftsmanship and beauty, and who loves to hear a good story. You must have exceedingly good orgainsational and people skills. You pride yourself on providing practical solutions to any problem and are able to build stable relationships based on mutual trust.
What to expect
  • Supporting the Editor-in-Chief, you will always remain calm under pressure and approach demanding situations in an accommodating and diplomatic manner.
  • In return for administrative and organisational duties you will get to attend brainstorms, support on photography and video shoots, conduct important research, communicate with high level designers and chief executives and observe how a department engaged in video, audio, social media, creative writing, journalism, design and styling operates at first hand.
  • Primary duties involve orgainsing the Editor in Chief's diary, travel and day to day needs, but there will be much scope for editorial and creative contributions and first hand experience of all that the team does.
  • You will build strong relationships with other Personal Assistants business wide to ensure all senior management are supported and receiving a high level of service
  • Through developing a deep understanding of the needs and preferences of the Head of, you will ensure the smooth running of their office and division on a day to day basis
  • You will be able to manage shifting priorities, whilst still maintaining accuracy, and remain positive at all times whilst ensuring efficiency around all internal systems and procedures
  • You will be comfortable with liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Highly organised you will manage diaries, manage inboxes, organise travel and work on projects
