We have an exciting opportunity for a Planner, Wholesale (Footwear)
The European Wholesale Planning Team within Michael Kors is responsible for 20+ partners spanning 10+ countries. The Planning function defines the strategic plans and must work collaboratively with Sales, Operations, Logistics and VM to maximize sales potential and drive the business forward. The Wholesale team operates in a fast paced environment and must be agile and dynamic to cater for the partner’s needs.

You will work closely with our Wholesale Partners to provide sales analysis and work on strategic plans to maximize sales potential and drive the business forward. Being responsible for the planning of the Footwear division across all Wholesale accounts, identifying and implementing commercial opportunities.
Maintain reporting and analysis for Footwear to ensure that opportunities are acted upon quickly
Produce and analyse weekly reports recapping sales and inventory
Develop monthly sales plans for key accounts
Maintain the WSSI for each account and identify replenishment opportunities weekly.
Actualize and maintain the OTB for each account
Responsible for re-forecasting the balance of the season after actualization each month.
Responsible for managing and trading the Footwear B99 (NOS) program for all key wholesale accounts
Recap selling by classification, style, colour and size, and recommend percentage breakouts before each season to achieve increased sales and sell-thru %, working closely with the Planning Manager and Account Executives
Produce ad hoc reports on an as needed basis using both financial data and unit selling data.
Assist the Account Executive in market preparations and attend Buying Appointments
Attend calls/meetings with the Partners to recap the current business and provide analysis to enable discussions regarding historical sales and incentive performance and use this to make suggestions to drive the business forward
Work closely with Operations/Account Executives to monitor the flow of stock into stores ensuring timely launches of new seasons and reactive replenishment
Assist in the planning and execution of New Store openings and Exit Strategies for store closures
Manage day-to-day workload and development of Planning Assistant
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree.
Very good experience within a Planning, Allocation or Merchandising position (preferably within wholesale)
Advanced Excel Skills
Prior experience managing junior level reports
Very good analytical skills
Creative problem solving skills
Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment
