We are looking for a full time mid-level Studio Manager/ Post-production producer to join our London team.
Our ideal applicant is someone who is pro-active, organised, detail oriented and a great people-person!
This exciting and varied role is responsible for project + team management, whilst overseeing the day-to-day running of our studio.
Upper Studio is a photographic & moving image post production company, with offices in London, New York and Portland. We specialise in creative retouching, moving image production, drum scanning, and proofing for fashion photographers, brands and advertising agencies worldwide.
Manage a team of retouchers, ensuring they are achieving deadlines in a fast-paced environment to standards set by Upper Studio.
Coordinating daily workload to retouchers, and ensure priorities are fulfilled on time
Ensuring internal job folders are well organised, communicating daily with local and international team
Keeping the website up to date with new released work
Maintain organisation of images, working files and job folders
Overseeing supplies for the office are taken care of
Booking freelance retouchers for busy periods, and maintaining good working relationships
Creating and sharing estimates, invoices and schedules to clients. Ensuring things are staying within cost
Ensure freelancers are working to our retouching standards
Minimum 2 years experience in a production role
Has a pro-active approach to work, with a teachable mindset
Proven experience in managing a team in a fast paced, high quality environment
Good project time management, and strong client + team communication
Excellent organisational skills, with proven abilities to prioritise tasks and meet tight deadlines
Proven experience managing client expectations on turnaround times: not over promising timings
Have a solid understanding of retouching. Bonus, good understanding of moving image
Always seeking to improve on communication and systems for organisation
A good working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Mac equipment + softwares such as Numbers
Ability to work and remain calm under pressure
Exceptional eye for detail
