Are you passionate about print design and color? Are you looking for the next step in your career? Do you enjoy working in a fast paced environment?
We are looking for a Print Design Assistant to join our Design team.
This role will report into the Head of Womenswear Design and is offered on a local full-time permanent contract.

What you will do:
  • Develop artwork from start to finish including all-over repeats and placement prints.
  • Put together print specification packs to be sent to production.
  • Keep print overviews up to date using InDesign and Photoshop.
  • Work collaboratively across the design and buying team.
  • Work closely with the buying team to understand the commercial needs for the department.
  • Ability to research thoroughly for trends, details and suggest new ideas suitable for the COS aesthetic.
  • Keep up to date with how the department’s customer is affected by trends and other factors.
  • Assist in sourcing and development of fabrics and print techniques.
  • Understand and support the designers in planning the print assortment.
  • Constantly monitor sales trends and seek new selling opportunities to support the team.

We are looking for:
  • Certifiable design qualification with a focus on Print.
  • Previous similar experience within a print role, ideally within a design environment.
  • An understanding of print design, creative artistic ability and colour awareness.
  • Broad technical knowledge and strong 3-dimensional sense.
  • A high level of awareness of current trends.
  • Excellent communication skills on a creative and technical level.
  • Proficiency in Adobe suite (especially Illustrator and Photoshop).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet regular deadlines.
  • Strong team player with great communication skills.
  • Strong organisation skills.
