Overview
You will support the delivery of first-class pattern design, selection and production management that encapsulates the Boden brand. Knowing who our key customer ‘Kate’ is and how she is wearing our clothes is integral.
Location: 4 - 5 days a week at our North Acton Office.
Design with our customer in mind – creating patterns that not only meet their needs but also delight and inspire them. You’ll push creative boundaries while staying true to what our customers love.
Explore innovative sources of inspiration and research seasonal colours and pattern trends that are right for Boden.
Create impactful range presentations using CAD, collaborating closely with the Design team to showcase the strongest patterned options for each style and story across all collections.
Develop and improve print methods with suppliers.
To ensure the Boden brand values are reflected in all areas of work, from design development to production.
Develop a key understanding and affinity with the Boden core customer.
Continuously engage in development, research, and comparison shopping to stay informed.
Demonstrated creative flair and a deep-rooted passion for design, with a strong track record of delivering impactful print work within the Womenswear space at Designer level.
Commercially astute, with experience designing for a clearly defined customer, balancing originality with strategic design thinking that supports brand identity and sales performance.
Confident trend awareness and a well-informed understanding of the fashion landscape, with an eye for interpreting key seasonal shifts and the positioning of leading contemporary brands.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and a working knowledge of Miro or similar tools, with a proven ability to translate ideas into compelling, production-ready visuals.
A relevant Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree, supported by hands-on industry experience in textile or print design.
Accustomed to working in fast-paced design environments, with a proactive, solutions-led approach to evolving briefs and shifting priorities.
A strong collaborator, experienced in working cross-functionally with buying, merchandising, and production teams to bring designs from concept to final product.
