The Role:
As a Project manager, you respond to information requests, which come direct from the Creative Agency and our Internal client services department (Account Management). Your role is to deal with client requests and traffic the work into the studio, factoring in studio resource, media scheduling/timelines, guidelines and
demanding stakeholders. Your main responsibility will be to manage the creative services function of the department, working closely with the creative artwork team. You will use your initiative, along with your great organizational and people skills to find solutions to problems and accept accountability to ensure that your campaigns go out on time and to budget. You will be working on a range of brands and briefs including creative artworking, retouching, design development and adaptation within the scope of print production. You will also be in charge of the estimates, budgets, billing and payment of your projects including SOX revenue reports, financial forecasts, 3rd party invoices, POs and all data requests from the finance and billings team.
Key deliverables of the role (not limited to):
  • Coordination between the Creative Agency and Studio
  • Book and schedule work into the studio
  • Respond to information requests from the Client as well as your Line Manager, Production Manager
  • & Account Management
  • Strive for better client and stakeholder relations
  • Manage all aspects of the jobs budgets, billing and payment through our finance system & reporting
  • on the forecast and revenue liasing direct with the finance team
  • Setting up new clients on the system
  • Handle all aspects of client campaigns from planning through to delivery
  • Manage and monitor timelines and deadlines, set realistic client expectations; proactively chase and
  • interrogate delays
  • Manage work using relevant HWW technologies and adhere to agreed processes, ensuring that
  • best practice is applied at all times
  • Escalate issues to the Production Manager/Account Management/Line manager/Client
  • Demonstrate clear understanding of brand
  • Manage a multiple number of jobs and projects at any one time, all at different stages and with
  • different requirements
  • Liaise with different stakeholders and ensure all are kept up-to-date on the progress of their work
  • Liaise with the creative agencies to source design files and resolve queries and issues
  • Provide advice and solutions to print production issues
  • Briefing first artworks, amends and deliveries to either London or Chennai based studios
  • Ensure timelines are met and work produced is of highest standard
  • Strive to improve ways of working and processes
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the team
  • Attend and input to meetings in relation to account relationships, team collaboration, workflow,
  • workload management and issue resolution
  • Champion, promote and lead by example in view of key Hogarth policies, procedures and values
  • Experience of working in a print production / printing / graphic design department
  • Experience of working with a creative agency
  • Experience of working in a client focused role
  • Some knowledge & understanding of Adobe InDesign & Photoshop
  • Some knowledge of static digital production
  • IT literate
  • Competent in Microsoft packages (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
  • Strong numeracy skills
  • Excellent knowledge of print production workflows
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
