Based in London - This is both a highly creative and technical role supporting Realisation's Design Director. You will be responsible for the management and coordination of all products: every step of the way from range planning through to final production. This requires high level of design and construction knowledge to ensure product reflect the creative direction and aesthetic of the brand.
  • Responsible for interpreting creative briefs given from the Design and Creative Director, demonstrating an awareness of the market and trends across a broad range of categories
  • Research and source sample references, fabrics and trims
  • Coordinate/ source/ and manage graphic and print designers needed to develop new styles
  • Presenting technical sketches designs to the Design director and evolve as required
  • Create print tech packs for both clothing and trims
  • Update and maintain documents at all times to ensure smooth communication throughout the design and development phases; closely following up throughout the process
  • Maintain the design boards and overviews for the team
  • Act as liaison between the Designers, factories and freelancers on all sampling and production requirements/issues
  • Ensuring sample and production deadlines are met at all times
  • Drawing, painting and technical illustrations
Your skills and experience:
  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe/ CAD packages and Microsoft Office (Excel)
  • Min 5 years in design/development/production industry experience; preferably luxury brands
  • Highly organised with an ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment both creatively
  • Understanding of construction, print and embroidery techniques
  • Highly creative but with a strong commercial understanding
  • Strong communicator and able to actively network internally and externally
  • Educated to degree level in design
  • Problem solving and solution orientated with a ‘Can-do’ attitude
  • Strongly motivated with the ability to work independently as part of a team
Salary based on experience, full time, 5 days a week.
