This role is pivotal to the success of delivering the best quality Entertainment platform, focusing on customer satisfaction and reliability scores. You will be working closely with Technology, Reliability and our European Product teams and you will help drive the Customer Experience across multiple Sky Q platforms and help define the future strategy. You will use your passion for product to continuously bring strategic and tactical enhancements to our award-winning product.
Act as a subject matter expert and product evangelist for the Q Platforms product team
Bring together platforms and technology teams to provide great experiences for our customers
Use data and insight to drive measurable improvements to the customer experience
Identify new customer initiatives and take these through the discovery, definition, and delivery process
Agree scope, prioritise defects and lead any issues that come up during the delivery process and in life
Gain an in-depth understanding of how the products are performing using data and customer insight and communicate this to partners on a regular basis to drive positive change
Manage escalations from customers and executives related to our products and be responsible for identifying customer issues on Sky Q and creating innovative solutions for them
A passion for understanding and improving the Sky Q customer experience with a deep technical understanding of the components making up a TV offering
An affinity for working on TV product problems at a technical level
The ability to step up and take ownership of a situation without being prompted, making good product decisions and learn swiftly from bad ones
An understanding and appreciation of the Product Management craft with the skill to create and maintain momentum in a complex, fast paced matrixed business environment
Solid skills in building the case for change, drawing on data and analytical techniques where appropriate, and communicating this to business audiences
A background in identifying and solving customer problems in a structured way, with experience in delivering outstanding product experiences
A demonstrable ability to involve the right people at the right time in the right way, with the ability to quickly establish credibility, respect and build strong working relationships
