The Product Manager (Dazed Club) is a key role which will help refine the newly launched Membership product. This role will explore different tiers of membership, and new products and services, particularly as it pertains to an app. Working with the Dazed Club, Marketing and Technology teams, this person will help ensure that the user experience is optimal for our Dazed Club audience - to ensure we acquire and retain them.
This individual should be comfortable taking responsibility for the output of teams - they will need to liaise with multiple stakeholders and analyse quant and qual data from the Dazed Club members. The work will range from discovery to testing, optimisation, and innovation around the core product and tiers.
You will need to be able to prioritise and keep work on track, with excellent communication skills to enable working with stakeholders and Commercial, Dazed Club and Editorial teams as well as with the Development team.
To excel in this role, the individual should have a passion for creating an impactful product and building a community as well as digital experiences for an 18-30 audience in the fashion, arts, culture and creative technology space. They should have experience in digital product management processes.
Duties, Responsibilities & Deliverables
You will manage the product roadmap and development for the core Dazed Club offering and different tiers. It’s crucial that we are researching and testing with both our clients and audience, to ensure the product iterates to best serve their needs and deliver great value to clients
You will run the development and offering of the Dazed Club app designed to bring the community together
You will iterate the Club product to build an audience of paying members and refine the product so attrition and drop off of members is low
You will work closely with the Editorial, Commercial and Marketing teams to ensure business goals and objectives are aligned
You will ensure that all developments have a clear data driven rationale and agreed success metrics which are shared widely
You will work closely with the Dazed Club Creative Director, Membership Marketing Manager, Marketing and Events Manager, Marketing and Communications Manager, Head of Technology, Digital Director, Director of Media, to look for opportunities to refine the current product and build new tiers
You will lead a discovery process to establish commercial partner needs for Dazed Club
Desired Skills & Experience
Digital product management experience
Experience of digital product development from a nascent beta phase to launch and beyond
Ability to seamlessly shift between working with developers, editors, creative directors and commercial teams and senior stakeholders in the business
Excellent communication skills and an ability to understand complex issues and translate them for different audiences
Experience in a media business is desirable
Love for fashion, arts, culture and creative technology
Friendly, diplomatic and collaborative approach with the people you work with
Passion for solid user-experience; building products around user need and evidence-led requirements gathering, analysis & problem-solving
Be adaptable, a fast learner and good team player
