You will have ownership and responsibility for a product or products that help our colleagues to delight customers, across areas such as marketing, trading, supply chain, logistics, online and HR. Bridging the technical and business worlds, you will work with colleagues across our brands to deliver against your products’ roadmap.
You’ll be someone who loves to make things happen and gets excited about identifying and delivering simple solutions to complex problems, at pace. As a product manager at Sainsbury’s, you will be a key part of shaping the future of our organisation and the retail sector.
Launch new products and enhance existing products
Deliver against and support the vision, strategy and roadmap for your product
Delivery of the projects & sprints on your product’s roadmap
Work alongside Architects, Delivery Managers and Engineers to design services our customers and colleagues love
Deliver against agreed benefits (functional and financial) for investments in your products
Deeply understand our customers’ needs and gather requirements
Provide digital product knowledge and insight for colleagues across our business
An ability to engage with colleagues and customers confidently and communicate clearly & concisely
Curiosity and drive which means you don’t settle for the status quo
Knowledge and experience of the retail and technology industries preferable, but more important is strong commercial awareness
Analytical and methodical approach to solving problems and understanding our customers
BA/BSc degree or equivalent practical experience
Experience of Agile working desirable
