At SMI we are currently looking for a highly experienced Production and Traffic Manager with extensive project management skills to join our team working on key integrated campaigns across lifestyle, fashion and beauty clients.
This is a new role and you will have the opportunity to shape processes and operational best practices, collaborating with communication and marketing professionals in a creative, fast paced, environment.
Reporting to the Operations Director you will work independently on key clients briefs across all teams.
Responsible for efficient management of campaigns and projects specifically:
Precise quoting and scoping of relevant job against Client brief
Creating an accurate Scope of Work commensurate with the agreed fee, expenses and production budget.
Agree scope with the client ensuring accurate internal resource allocation and capacity management
Controlling internal resourcing to ensure projects meet profitability targets
Responsible for accurate staff time recording
Timeline development, trafficking work and keeping track of team progress
Ensuring accurate delivery of end services against scope outlined
Project review and success evaluation with teams
Reporting to Operations Director and Management team on results
Job management including the on-boarding of clients and the timely cost and fee reconciliations at end of projects.
Utilising internal project management software; experience of Paprika essential
Attending meetings with teams and clients to understand their objectives and advise on budgeting, resources and opportunities
Working closely with the client accountants to ensure all relevant fees and costs are billed
Working closely with the Operations Director and Finance team to ensure efficient delivery of projects
Communicating efficiently and succinctly with clients and all teams involved in all projects to ensure all briefings are properly shared with relevant resources
The successful Production and Traffic Manager will be an excellent and sophisticated communicator with solid experience in managing complex communications and creative campaigns across several channels and able to communicate appropriately and efficiently with internal and external stakeholders as well as clients on a daily basis.
You will be a team player with the ability to build strong relationships but also to work independently
You will have a strong understanding of project management systems and all technology needed to create streamlined processes. Experience within the creative industry, across fashion, lifestyle, beauty, retail or luxury brands would be ideal.
Ability to draft with clarity, negotiate effectively and with empathy, excellent financial project and change management skills, strong commercial aptitude, and track record in ability to assess the effort needed to successfully delivery contracted deliverables to budget.
