The Direct To Consumer division is focussed on driving new consumer revenues. A key team within it is the newly renamed Gaming, Live & Merchandising (GL&M) team (formerly Commerce & Ventures).
A small team based in Gray’s Inn Road, GL&M is focussed on driving new UK ancillary profit opportunities using ITV Studios and third party brands across the areas of Pay to Play & Freemium Games, Quizzing, Gambling, Set Tours, Visitor Attractions, Tours, Consumer Exhibitions, Fan Events, Stage, YouTube Channels, Shops and Stand Alone Apps.
Candidates are expected to be entrepreneurial and able to think outside the box, while working as a team across multiple internal and external stakeholders to deliver high quality, profitable, premium experiences and products for our customers to enjoy.
The main purpose of the role is to support the operations of GL&M creative team, particularly from a rights and use of talent perspective on projects across wider team e.g. talent use within gaming products, talent voice overs for a proposed Musical, talent photoshoot.
What this role will entail…
Some Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting legal, commercial and creative stakeholders in drafting framework agreements and associated statement of works for general contracts with ongoing suppliers.
  • Ensuring agreements are signed and returned to legal for execution.
  • Maintaining the appropriate documentation across the C&V initiatives to ensure we keep up to date.
  • Drafting short term freelance contract where appropriate in conjunction with HR and ensuring individuals who are contracted on that basis are done so correctly and are paid.
  • Other payroll activities as required
  • Drafting the talent agreements and ensuring payment and all relevant documentation is completed.
  • Raising POs, paying invoices and resolving payment issues, ensuring finance are informed as to what costs have been assigned to what project.
  • Setting up suppliers and other procedures as required in ITV's I business toolkit. 
  • Making sure risk assessments are completed where necessary, call sheets are completed and other production related tasks.
  • Arranging transport, travel, logistics as required for creative shoots. Making arrangement for catering, special requirements, security etc
  • Maintaining and updating a shared library of GL&M creative assets across all projects including photo and TV ad library
The ideal candidate:
  • You will have very strong organisational skills and demonstrate the ability to multi-task and prioritise as appropriate. With a demanding workload, you will need to work quickly and efficiently at all times.
  • You will have a confident, calm and friendly telephone manner with the ability to use your initiative and knowledge to deal with sometimes complex questions and issues as they occur
  • You will be able to demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail in everything you do, even when working under pressure or to deadline.
  • You will be able to demonstrate confidentiality, tact and diplomacy at all times.
  • You will be committed to working as part of a successful multi-skilled team, sharing the responsibility for supporting programme production by having a willingness and aptitude to learn about the production process and learn new skills with the appropriate training.
  • You will be friendly and approachable, respectful of all your ITV colleagues and you’ll have the ability to maintain a positive attitude, even when under pressure, working to deadlines or in a live environment.
  • You will be constantly alert to the common goal, demonstrating flexibility around task in order to get the collective job done, able to adapt and prioritise at short notice.
  • You will be an excellent communicator who is self motivated and quick thinking with strong and decisive decision making skills
