Hearst Live is the award winning live events division of Hearst UK. Creating live experiences for our clients and iconic media brands such as Cosmopolitan, Esquire, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar and Country Living.
The Role
You will work alongside the Head of Events & ‘White Label’ Experiential to grow and deliver Hearst owned events and bespoke client experiential campaigns for Hearst Live.
Key duties and responsibilities
  • Responsible for Event Production delivery across the whole events programme including: bespoke client experiential, exhibitions (Salon QP, Country Living Show, Women’s Health Live) and live events (Esquire Town House, ELLE Weekender)
  • Responsible for managing and coordinating projects from initial pitch stage to delivery, overseeing all technical production elements including, lighting, rigging, scenic fabrication, budgeting, temporary structure management, H&S, crew & contractor management and logistics
  • Planning and organising production schedules assessing project and resource requirements
  • Overseeing production process and close liaison with event project manager, creative team, third party suppliers and all internal teams at all levels of the business
  • Responsible for negotiation and the procurement of third party suppliers ensuring that rates are competitive with the completion of a bill of quantities and maintaining a consistent three quote process
  • Oversee budget management and production scheduling for all projects and updating or re-negotiating timescales where necessary
  • Adhere to all risk, health and safety compliance & processes including completion risk and method statements
  • Develop the overall production offering and drive forward our services as a Production agency to third party clients
  • On site management on the day of all events to include and not limited all scheduling and deliveries.
  • Work with the senior team to develop creative and innovative event concepts and solutions to business needs.
  • Evaluation and reporting of key learning and successes alongside Producers and event management team
  • Project reconciliation for responsible areas of budget
  • Responsibility for ensuring all invoices are collated from various third-party suppliers

  • A Production Manager who is highly organised and a creative thinker, who can multi task across projects 
  • A candidate with a very positive and enthusiastic attitude with a genuine interest in cutting edge production of live events and experiential campaigns
  • Passionate about live experiences and belief in the power of live experiences 
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management required and influencing diverse groups of people 
  • Self-starter attitude, confident but not arrogant, self-belief and an always learning attitude 
  • Foster a culture of excellence, learning and development across the immediate team of reports and Hearst Live
  • Proven ability to work within a team culture, support and help team members when required
