About Creative Mentor Network

Creative Mentor Network has a mission to make the creative world of work more diverse and inclusive through mentoring.
We work with partners across the creative industries including Soho House, Sony Music, Sky and Wieden Kennedy to design and deliver bespoke mentor programmes, helping them create meaningful and sustained change to the diversity of their organisations.
We recruit talented young people from diverse backgrounds from across our partner colleges, universities and youth centres, matching them with mentors working in the creative industries. Then we provide high impact coaching and leadership training to support mentors.
Our model is designed so that everyone wins: supportive careers guidance for students; training and development for mentors; access to a diverse talent pool for creative businesses.
We’re small and London based, but growing fast and looking to scale nationally in 2020.
We work closely together and always for the benefit of the young people we support.

About the role
Creative Mentor Network delivers several bespoke mentoring and mentor training programmes a year for creative industry partners, with varying timelines, deliverables and participants.
Our Programme Manager will be overseeing the delivery of up to five mentoring programmes at a time from start to finish, ensuring they have the most impact possible on the young people we are designed to support.
This will include taking ownership of the programmes you are managing; understanding the client objectives and ensuring clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders, including mentors and mentees on the programme, Associate Trainers delivering the workshops, and a project lead at Creative Mentor Network. As Programme Manager, you will also manage the selection of mentees for the programmes you are managing, onboarding them and making informed matches between young people and professionals!

  • confidence taking ownership of responsibilities
  • enjoys client management and building strong relationships
  • able to spot opportunities to build upon existing partnerships
  • keen to work in a fast-paced startup environment where things change regularly
  • operations mindset, with a proactive approach to improving processes
  • photography would be great, but definitely not a must
We’re a small team and so we’re always looking for people with skills that we don’t already have in our team. If you’re good at photography, editing videos, graphic design, or facilitating workshops, please tell us about it as you might have skills that are much needed in the CMN team!

Responsibilities
Manage CMN mentoring programmes
  • Lead assessment centres, select the right mentees for the programme, and match candidates with the right mentors according to CMN processes
  • Manage on-boarding process for mentors and mentees
  • Comfortable using our project management platform (Asana) to track progress and communicate with the project lead
  • Conduct check-ins with mentees and mentors and feed into Head of Partnerships
  • Manage mentor communications
  • Manage showcase event logistics: manage venue and set up in the run up, and coordinate on the day
Experience required
- At least 2+ years of project management experience
- Experience of working with multiple stakeholders
- Some experience working with young people or in education is preferred
- Experience or interest in leading workshops a bonus

START DATE: January
FULL-TIME POSITION: 5 days a week
DEADLINE TO APPLY: Sunday 24th November
SALARY: £20,000-24,000 + Soho House all house membership
