Role Overview:
An exciting opportunity to join one of the world’s leading advertising and marketing agency and work for a global leader in Electronics and Information Technology to transform their retail space and customer experience.
If you're interested in working in retail and like to execute projects, the role of production manager could be for you. We are growing our Retail team and are looking for an experienced retail production manager, to be part of our fun, collaborative team. This person will play an integral part in bringing designs to life. The Retail Production Manager will support the retail experience from the design, creation, and execution of retail stores, fixture overhauls, fixture updates, POS display’s, shop in shops, for both domestic and international key channels of distribution. This candidate must be highly detail-oriented with a positive work ethic and a love for retail. Knowledge on Digital and Retail Technology Integration will be an advantage.

Job Responsibilities
  • Undertaking design project from concept to completion for all domestic and international markets;
  • Be involved in for the technical management, supervision and control of industrial production processes;
  • Draft a timescale for the job;
  • Estimate costs and set the quality standards;
  • Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed;
  • Selecting, ordering and purchasing materials in coordination with external suppliers;
  • Be responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipment’s /retail fixtures;
  • Monitor product standards and implement quality-control programmes;
  • Liaise among different internal departments and external suppliers;
  • Interpreting and translating customer needs and industry trends into plans;
  • Working closely with Senior Retail Designers, Production Head and Account Management team to produce retail elements across multiple brand environments;
  • Review detailed drawings, material specs etc before sending for production;
  • In coordination with Account management team, present ideas to clients including Layouts, structures, display, graphics, colours, textures and details;
  • Consider the requirements of construction, installation and fit-out with an awareness of properties of materials;
  • Produce samples and mood boards;
  • Supervise work delivery in coordination with the Production Head;
  • Research and follow industry trends, new material specs and best practices;
  • Dealing with external contractors and architects whenever required;
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Planning and organisation skills to be able run and monitor the production process;
  • At least 3-5 years retail production experience industrial engineering, furniture, architecture or interior design production, preferably with Electronic and Mobile brands;
  • Ability to act decisively and solve staff or equipment-related problems;
  • Excellent understanding of architectural drawings with an eye for detail;
  • Strong negotiation skills for getting materials within budget and at the right time;
  • Ability to work under pressure and motivate others to meet tight deadlines;
  • Expertise in layout, colour, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture and all installations.
  • Proven working experience in decorating retail and interior spaces (consultations, renovations, space planning and new constructions);
  • Self-starter who demonstrates strong initiative;
  • An understanding of retail customers, their preferences, buying behaviour and retail trends;
  • The ability to work well in a team and independently;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to present your ideas to clients and colleagues;
  • Good organisational abilities and the ability to work to deadlines under pressure with conflicting priorities;
  • Effective Project management skills
