Description

This position assists with our sales efforts at 180 The Strand, predominantly focused on our meeting and conferencing spaces. Working within the 180 sales team, this role focuses on helping develop high-touch business events in our state-of-the-art spaces, bringing together AV, F&B, creative and service for our partners.

You’ll work closely with the management, operations teams and creative teams to devise event concepts with clients, both big and small, and manage all of our client relationships and inbound/outbound enquiries.

This position requires a comprehensive knowledge of the event production, managing clients and sales, contracting and execution.

Candidate must possess


  • 3-5 years experience working in an event sales role.
  • Experience of working with brands & clients in a sales capacity.
  • Understanding of the sales process and how to formalise deals
  • Experience in managing events, and understanding client requirements for production.
  • Experience in working within a targeted sales environment
  • First class networking skills, a self-starter who is able to work independently yet be part of a focused team.
  • Commercial nous, and negotiation skills.
  • A high-performance focus, solid work ethic and a very hands-on nature.
  • A clear passion and energy for business, and the evolving media landscape
  • Solid written/verbal communication & presentation skills.
  • Impeccable personal integrity and business ethics.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with an ability to work on your own initiative.
