The role of Senior Analyst, Sales Planning & Operations covers three key areas: Sales Planning Strategy & Operations, Deal Management & Administration and Product Management. The role will be key in driving progress in our Sales Planning Organisation. The candidate will have a background in TV Distribution with a strong interest in and existing knowledge of the broadcast landscape.
This role requires strong administration and IT skills, with the ability to work autonomously on regular responsibilities and supporting key projects.
The job’s most important functions and responsibilities include:
Sales Planning Strategy & Operations (25%)
Support and drive on projects to further Sales Planning capabilities and operational efficiency
Work closely with Home Office teams to develop and/or enhance systems and processes
Develop close relationships with Sales and Sales Planning to gather requirements and engage the teams in new ways of working
Be an ambassador and facilitate collaboration across divisions, regions and stakeholders.
Be an expert able to support roll out and train Planners on new processes.
Deal Management and Administration (50%)
Review RPM deal set up across EMEA
Review and Approve S2F Release Packages
Work with Home Office to establish and implement where required standardised system entry
Run and distribute monthly Sales Planning administration reports. Follow up with Planners where action is required
Sales Deal Approvals
Track new deals in system and match to Sales Approval
Ensure Sales Approval process has been followed according to correct levels and COFA
Track One Sheet deal summaries are created for all volume deals / complex deals and review for accuracy.
Run S2F Approvals report, circulate and follow up on any issues
Run RP status report. Follow up and resolve inconsistencies before Billing errors arise
TV Series product maintenance
Establish EMEA ROS tracking process and reporting to facilitate system updates and client notifications across EMEA.
Coordinate TV series updates from HO and establish a central source of information for Sales & Sales Planning

Qualifications and Competencies
Qualifications and Experience
Educated to minimum undergraduate degree level
Typically minimum of 4 years’ experience in TV Distribution or a similar environment (Media)
Strong IT skills, in particular Excel (Pivot Tables & Formulas), PowerPoint and comfortable learning new systems
Fluency in English is essential and other language skills would be desirable
Highly numerate with excellent attention to all details – accuracy, presentation and completeness
Excellent communication skills: Clear and articulate when speaking with an individual or before a group; confident in voicing their opinion, expressing ideas and influencing within the Sales and Sales Planning group
Able to work effectively on their own as well as being a strong team player
Able to provide information and reports in appropriate format and on a timely basis to key stakeholders
Proactive, flexible and adaptable – anticipate needs in different situations and takes appropriate action with guidance and on own initiative
Team player who is willing and able to assist colleagues during busy periods. Demonstrate an effort to collaborate with resources outside their territory and region
