We are looking for a Senior Buyer to join our Monsoon Buying department. This role is for an individual looking for a versatile and challenging role, which gives them a lot of opportunity and provides more exposure to the business. This role would suit an established Senior Buyer who has worked in fast fashion at a mid-market retailor. You will be an individual who is used to driving their department independently and has experience of managing a team.
What will you do as a Senior Buyer?
Take responsibility for the season planning
Developing and producing future ranges
Managing the supply base and critical path (overseas travel is a must!)
Leading a small team
What will you need to succeed as a Senior Buyer?
Up to 3 years in a current Senior Buyer role
Experience working in an Ecommerce driven business
Strong background in product development focused buying from a leading retailer
Experience in and knowledge of buying own brand womenswear ranges
Ability to work with a high number of options, in a fast-paced environment
Track record of leading and developing junior team members
Confidence in dealing and negotiating with overseas suppliers
Overseas travel experience; Far East and India
