Senior Community ManagerAKQA


The Senior Community Manager at AKQA works with the wider Social team, account directors, creatives and the client to create and execute innovative social media campaigns and Always-on content. Community managers understand the client’s tone of voice, help to plan and maintain social media content, and focus on keeping the community engaged.

Role requirements 

  • Always engaging with, and be the voice of, a community within the Fashion sector
  • Constantly listening and responding and proactively create value driven conversations
  • Identify social insights to integrate into concepts to create relevant and highly engaging content
  • Creating monthly social status reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Support global social channel strategy and optimisation
  • Identifying social opportunities to develop engaging and real-time content with internal and external stakeholders
  • Assisting with developing monthly social content calendars across multiple channels
  • Identifying influencers and building strong relationships
  • Understanding and passion for the Fashion sector
  • Strong understanding of user-generated content management

Qualities and Characteristics 

  • You have expertise with social media tools, channels and trends
  • You are able to start and maintain appropriate and authentic conversations within the community
  • You have extensive experience managing and growing global, online communities preferably with a focus on fashion
  • Experience in copywriting, journalism or editing is extremely advantageous
