The Senior Copywriter is gatekeeper of the sub-editing process, so faultless spelling and grammar is essential.
Supporting the Copy Manager, the Senior Copywriter must be well-versed in good copy practice to ensure that our luxury reputation and tone of voice maintains the highest of standards at all times.
Responsible for managing five Junior Copywriters, you will offer regular feedback and support, handle all managerial administrative duties and lead their mid-year and annual reviews.
Day-to-day you will also be sub-editing up to three Copywriters' work as well as checking just-in pages on the live site.
You must be able to build relationships across the department in order to consolidate brand and product information and implement copy updates to ensure descriptions and brand information are always accurate.
Working closely with the Production and Trade teams, you will be a key player in streamlining the copy process in order to meet daily deadlines and maximise production.
Based at our brand new studio, you will also be writing up to 25 product descriptions a day across all of our luxury categories - beauty, fashion, accessories, childrenswear, home, food and more.
Additional responsibilities include writing e-mail copy, brand copy and banners.
