As Senior Creative Producer, you will bring the Museum of Childhood’s new vision to life, in fresh ways that are playful, curious, experimental and energetic. You will create nourishing and sustained relationships with audiences and creative and community partners locally, nationally and internationally, with a focus on children, young people, their families and adult carers. As a catalyst and facilitator you will generate new kinds of work and programming. To achieve this you will bring your ideas, experience, and draw on your external networks. In so doing you will help to develop and shape this new role. Through your work you will demonstrate that discovering their creativity can change people’s lives.
You will be accountable for delivery of a new creative programme to propel the Museum of Childhood into its new incarnation and to strengthens its financial position. It will excite and intrigue people to think differently and connect with their own creativity and imagination. This will be inspired by ideas and stories from the V&A’s collection of art, design and performance.
We welcome applications from all backgrounds. The role may suit someone who does not come from a conventional museum background but has a portfolio of experience, for example, across live events, partnerships and performance.
Closing date for applications is midday 3 June 2019.
Interviews are likely to be held in early July 2019
