Responsible for leading a highly skilled and motivated team to build and deliver the best possible front end shopping experience across Boden’s websites. Through strong collaboration with the brand, product, UX and marketing teams, you’ll lead a team who deliver campaigns and experiences that meet the needs of our customers whilst delivering strong commercial performance.
Location: 3 days per week based at our North Acton Office. What You Will Do
Website Management
  • Accountable for the ‘on-time’ and ‘right first-time' delivery of product and campaign launches on the websites.
  • Continually ensure the onsite experience is aligned with requirements of key internal stakeholders.
  • Actively manage the workflow of product and content across multiple websites and continually review processes to provide greater accuracy, speed, or performance.
  • Understand and share the performance of content to enable continual improvements in customer experience, product discovery, basket building and conversion rate.
  • Oversee the trading calendar and support tactical sales initiatives to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Act as a key business stakeholder for platform enhancements, digital product roadmap, A/B testing strategy, and insights-led optimisations.
Customer Journey & Experience
  • Lead the planning, execution, QA, and performance analysis of all promotional and seasonal campaigns on the Shopify Plus platform. Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, meet defined commercial objectives, and adhere to brand and UX standards.
  • Optimize the end-to-end customer journey across all ecommerce storefronts by executing targeted campaigns, improving on-site UX, and ensuring international relevance through localisation.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI, Analytics, and Technology teams to identify friction points and conversion drop-offs.
  • Lead the implementation of all recommendations to increase engagement, reduce bounce rates, and improve conversion.
  • Act as the Ecommerce Lead in cross-functional initiatives, partnering with marketing, operations, and customer service to deliver a cohesive and consistent omnichannel experience across all customer touchpoints.
  • Collaborate across teams to drive measurable growth in organic traffic and improve search engine rankings across key ecommerce pages to increase visibility, engagement, and revenue contribution from non-paid channels.
  • Manage on-page SEO, ensure we have the optimal site structure and technical setup in collaboration with the Technology teams.
  • Work across teams to optimise all product details and product imagery to improve search performance both onsite and offsite.
  • Collaborate with SEO agencies on Monthly and quarterly performance reporting delivered with insights and action plans.
  • Use tools like Adobe Analytics, Google Search Console, and Shopify to optimize rankings and experience.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Domain Product Owners to define the roadmap for product information.
Leadership & Management
  • Build, retain and develop the ecommerce team through strong leadership.
  • Create a collaborative, motivating and supportive team culture that delivers strong employee engagement.
  • Coach and develop team members on both the IQ and EQ skills required.
What We Are Looking For
  • Strong ecommerce experience, preferably in online fashion retail.
  • Excellent working knowledge of product data management, content management and eCommerce platforms.
  • Good working knowledge of SEO best practices and principles.
  • Proven experience of delivering high volumes of product within a fast-paced environment
  • Building strong working relationships with brand, marketing, product, and UX teams.
  • Prior management experience.
  • An excellent communicator (both written and verbally) to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Very well organised and with a clear sense of ownership and accountability for both delivery and quality.
  • A proactive and determined problem solver.
