The VCCP Partnership is an integrated communications agency, set up in 2002 by Charles (V), Rooney (C), Adrian (C) and Ian (P) who founded the agency on the principles of simplicity, collaboration, un-preciousness and integration around ideas rather than channels. Their founding client was BT Cellnet, now more commonly known as O2 and the most awarded brand in IPA effectiveness history.
Across the Partnership, we work with a broad spectrum of clients from O2 and comparethemarket.com to Nationwide, easyJet, Coors Light and First Utility on a multitude of briefs, from social media or launch campaigns to DM and web build.

WHO WE ARE:

VCCP Kin is the social and content marketing arm of the VCCP Partnership. It is a creative content agency, specializing in the creation, production, and distribution of brilliant and effective content for brands.  VCCP Kin blends the skillsets of SEO, social media, content marketing, community engagement as well as full-service production facilities.  It works on behalf of key VCCP Partnership clients as well as independent clients.  In the last year the business produced over 500 pieces of content, from high-end film production to infographics and editorial content.  Currently a team of 75 people, it is an exciting time to join a new business as it develops its full proposition to market.

What’s the role?

The Senior Editor role is to provide innovative and creative editing to VCCP Kin’s Post facility.
Supporting both the Head of Post Production and the other Editors.
Core Duties & Responsibilities
  • Creatively determine the narrative, structure, tone and look of an edit.
  • Offline and Online Broadcast and Non-broadcast projects.
  • Consult and advise with the Director, Creative, Producer and account team throughout the process.
  • Deliver jobs to the highest standard to the correct technical specification.
  • Help to ensure and maintain consistent file management and workflow is adhered to across all editors and freelancers.
  • Help develop and nurture Junior Editors and Editors.
  • Support the Head of Post in overseeing the quality and progress of projects in the department and keep them informed of any issues.
  • Ensure Brand guidelines are always followed when delivering projects.
  • Ensure master deliverables meet legal and technical specs.
  • Report to the Head of Post Production.
Experience
  • Advanced understanding of broadcast standards, including QC process and Clearcast guidelines.
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro CC.
  • Knowledge of DaVinci Resole and After Effects preferred but not essential.
  • Advanced knowledge of video codecs / file formats/social assets for web and broadcast deliveries.
  • Basic understanding of file servers, SAN, NAS, etc.
  • Understanding of how content is consumed and distributed in a digital context.
