Job Title: Senior Manager, International Marketing & Services 12 Month Contract

A little bit about our team:
ADA Worldwide strives to provide independent artists and label partners with access to the resources, relationships and experience required to share their creative vision with a global audience.
As the independent distribution  arm of Warner Music Group, the ADA team works closely with distributed artists and label partners from the US and overseas to help realize our common goals for promoting music on a global basis while optimizing streaming and sales opportunities. The  Marketing & Services team is the heartbeat of its services offering, partnering directly with artists, managers, and labels -- as well as cross-functional ADA and Warner teams -- to bring artist campaigns to life and grow audience across social, streaming, CRM, and beyond. We are both creative cultural experts and meticulous digital operators, driven by a passion to optimize, innovate, educate, and empower in harmony with our indie partners. We bring in new and exciting music to ADA from across the globe.
Your role:
This is a unique opportunity to learn the global music business and work across different countries, cultures and languages with exciting artists and label partners from around the world. ADA is looking for a strategic international marketer with expertise in developing global/multi-market campaigns to join the Global Marketing team. The International senior marketing manager will be responsible for developing comprehensive strategies for marketing releases from Label Services artists and distributed partners across genres and career stages. The position will work closely with all of ADA’s Marketing and Commerce teams as well as Warner Music and our third party marketing agencies. . They will be both creatively-minded and analytically-driven, serving as experts in industry standards digital marketing and music promotion.­­
Here you’ll get to:
  • Develop marketing rollouts & campaign strategies to successfully grow music streams, video views, UGC, social media engagement, CRM/fan acquisition, and an overall digital creative vision for ADA Label Services partners.
  • Partner with artists and management to craft a social narrative and content strategy for each artist that elevates their brands and drives fandom, cultural conversation and music consumption outside of their home market.
  • Develop, commission, and manage campaign budgets and plans for Label Services releases including content creation, advertising, influencer marketing, press, radio.
  • Build and manage new and ongoing relationships with online partners, third-party marketing agencies, content creators, and influencers
  • Monitor campaigns in real-time, making recommendations for continuous improvement. Create post-mortem analyses to quantify the impact of each campaign and measure effectiveness of each tactic.
  • Work in conjunction with Global Commerce team to develop marketing drivers to support opportunities with streaming services. Analyze consumption patterns on a track or artist level to inform tailored social campaigns to drive streaming.
  • Publicity, and Sync to build cohesive cross-platform campaigns.Drive and with internal teams including ADA Global Commerce, ADA local international teams, Affiliate LabelManagement/Marketing,
  • Educate and lead knowledge sharing across affiliate ADA markets in order to keep developing the ADA overall services offering.
  • You will drive partner meetings on a local and global basis focused on strategic marketing and creative ideas.
About you:
  • You are passionate music fan with in depth  knowledge of global markets.
  • You have a strong background in international marketing, promotion and digital strategy with duties at previous employers that included driving global marketing services campaigns.
  • You understand distribution services offering and preferably have experience of working  with independent labels/artists.
  • You preferably have your finger on the pulse of current social media and pop culture trends and values, especially amongst Gen Z consumers.
  • You are highly organized with a strong emphasis on multi-tasking, with the ability to take a project from inception to execution.
  • You maintain a track record of formulating creative ideas and solutions, with the ability to influence others with these ideas
  • You have a well-developed commercial data insights skill set and understanding of the marketing & digital landscape.
  • You are passionate about and demonstrate a desire to continue to learn, grow and adapt with the rapidly changing industry.
  • You will be working across many different territories, it will be important for you to be flexible,dynamic and diplomatic so you can effectively adapt to business requirement.
  • Have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to excel working both independently and in team environments.
We’d love it if you also had:
  • 4+ years of direct experience in International Marketing/Digital Marketing
  • A broad understanding and appreciation of music genres as well as awareness of trending other entrainment industry sectors – film, TV, tech, gaming, AI, Web 3, etc.
  • Knowledge of more languages would be a big plus.
  • Knowledge of working or living in multiple countries would be a plus.
  • You have knowledge and relationships with third party marketing, promotion and creative agencies.
