We are looking for a Senior Manager, Performance Marketing to join us here at Lyst. You will manage a team of performance specialists (with a focus on Shopping activity) and play a pivotal role driving growth for the paid channel across Google & Bing.
This role is a great opportunity for an experienced Manager wanting to take a step up or an existing Team Lead.
You will need to manage, forecast and optimise performance, shaping this around business targets. You are responsible for your team's output and with that you must be confident in managing their work and meeting KPI’s. This may require you to adapt your teams focus where necessary to drive sustainable growth.
You’ll be confident in analysing data, producing reports, insights, finding solutions and making decisions based on an understanding of commercial levers and your platform specialism.
We believe building and maintaining trusted, collaborative working relationships with external (platform) and internal (engineering) stakeholders is essential to deliver best-in-class campaigns which drive customer and revenue growth for Lyst. You’ll be confident in talking to multiple teams in a language they understand to ensure they are supporting your work in the most effective way possible.
Working with the wider Performance Marketing team (SEO, App, Display, Paid Social) you’ll deliver projects that yield an holistic view of media performance. We want someone who has an understanding of channels outside their specialism and where they fit into the digital marketing ecosystem.
You’ll also work very closely with our Data Engineering team who will support you on advance bidding and attribution systems to enhance your understanding of performance and drive growth.


  • 4+ years experience, with line management responsibilities
  • Responsibilities planning and running paid campaigns, in a high growth environment and delivering results to budget
  • Proven track record of working on large scale PPC accounts (circa +£6M annual spend)
  • Expertise in Google & Bing search products and managing them across multiple markets
  • Expertise in Google & Bing Shopping with significant experience building and running campaigns with large inventories - you know how to get the most of our platforms to maximise performance. Fashion retail experience desirable
  • Knowledge of bid strategies and budget optimisation models that meet business KPI’s - ROAS, Net Profit, LTV, CAC, MTA, MMM should all be in your repertoire. Experience of working with martech or data engineering teams desirable
  • An expert in Excel, utilising commercial data and building context
  • Proficiency in SQL database language, experience of Python / R desirable
  • Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Google Data Studio, Datorama, Looker or Power BI and designing reporting templates
  • Experience in App acquisition and exposure to Display retargeting and Paid Social desirable, we’re looking for people who’ve worked as part of a cross-functional team and grasp the role of different channels
  • Leading innovation and testing strategies for your team and an ability to communicate concepts concisely to a breadth of stakeholders
  • Strong critical thinking skills based on data and the ability to think laterally about solutions
  • Proven ability in empowering and developing members of your team to drive their performance
