We’re looking for an experienced senior marketing manager to join us for 12 months. In this role you’ll be responsible for marketing planning, campaigns and activity to raise awareness of FreeAgent within the NatWest Banking Group, and to work closely with NatWest banking colleagues to deliver compelling marketing campaigns to encourage business banking customers to sign up to and adopt FreeAgent.
We’re looking for someone who has a strong track record in delivering compelling creative acquisition communications. You’ll also be super-organised, have good judgement in the creative development process and have a keen focus on getting the best from all acquisition opportunities. This is underpinned by an excellent grasp of metrics, good business acumen and excellent collaboration skills.
Day-to-day, here’s what you can expect:
To be the interface between FreeAgent and the NatWest Group teams for all communication related activities
To shape and deliver the acquisition strategy for FreeAgent with NatWest Group business customers, and with the small business marketing team to act as a key stakeholder in the wider communications strategy
To spot awareness and acquisition led opportunities in the marketing funnel and work with the team on optimisation
To test, grow and optimise existing channels, generating required levels of sign ups within set CAC:LTM targets
To work with and support the Commercial Operations team to inform and deliver against company-wide targets
To lead and coordinate cross-functional and cross-departmental teams to deliver projects targeted to generate awareness and acquisition
Analyse complex qualitative and quantitative data and insights to support strategic development
Deliver regular campaign reports detailing performance against objectives and budgets
Line management of the Senior Marketing Executive
Support the Head of Small Business and Propositions Marketing in delivery of the team strategy and commercial targets
A demonstrable track record of developing and delivering successful multi-channel customer acquisition campaigns
Ability to create successful marketing acquisition strategies, plan and then deliver that activity
An excellent project manager with a strong track record of delivery
Strong day-to-day performance tracking and management of budgets
Experience of working with creative teams and partners to deliver compelling campaigns with tangible results
An excellent and experienced line manager, who will support and develop staff
Ability to adapt and work at pace to deliver to tight deadlines calmly and effectively
First-rate analytical skills and a desire to really understand performance and report on it effectively
Has sufficient self-awareness to identify personal strengths and areas for development; reviews and reflects on personal behaviour and is able to make adjustments accordingly
Able to lead groups and keep the project on track by seeking resolution on any blockers
A natural collaborator who can work effectively with colleagues at all levels, as both part of a smaller team and the wider organisation, including external partners
A problem solver with great positivity who can proactively manage emerging issues and see the bigger picture, providing clarity where required
Great communications skills with the ability to manage complex partnerships and nuance
Experience in marketing within professional services, in particular financial services.
