This role will suit someone who's specialised in You Tube, video and display.
What this role will entail... Reporting to ITV's Head of Media, this newly created role of Senior Media Manager - Video and Display, is an exciting opportunity to lead the video and display media strategies of the UK's largest commercial broadcaster, supporting both viewer marketing and consumer marketing priorities. This role is an integral part of the media team and will be responsible for the development of effective and efficient video and display strategies which deliver business results. The successful candidate will be accountable for mutually beneficial relationships with media agencies and owners, ensuring that ITV is getting the best value, innovation and creativity. Measurement is at the core of this role, with accountability for developing and maintaining a clear understanding of what is effective and efficient across display and video channels.
Some Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the strategy and delivery of display and video for ITV Viewer and Consumer marketing.
  • Work closely with marketing analytics to understand the measurement and optimisation of display and video channels. Make recommendations and implement changes to improve effectiveness and/or efficiency.
  • Lead the strategy and delivery of integrating 1 st and 3 rd party data into video and display at ITV.
  • Build a strong relationship key media agencies to ensure ITV are getting the best value, innovation and creativity in broadcast channels.
  • Build strong relationships with relevant media owners, ensuring we are first in line as a preferred partner to work with.
  • Collaborate with broader media team - paid TV, owned TV, CRM, digital content creation - to ensure all video and display media plans are integrated with other media.
  • Exploit insight and segmentation to further develop viewer affinity by delivering more personalised marketing communications.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with multiple stakeholders across ITV, gaining their buy in and engagement for broadcast media plans.
  • Act as a centre of excellence for your channels across the ITV business.
  • Own forecast and delivery of revenue targets for YouTube across ITV and give direction to content teams on content required to meet targets.
The ideal candidate:
  • Media professional with excellent creative and commercial understanding and a proven success record working across complex businesses and multiple stakeholders.
  • Highly experienced in strategy, planning and buying of all video and display channels, with particular experience in YouTube preferred.
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships across a range of business areas.
  • Passionate about accountability and effectiveness, with experience implementing econometrics and attribution results to improve media performance.
  • Experience of using 1 st and 3 rd party data to improve media targeting and performance.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to develop agreements with third parties which are mutually beneficial and deliver the best result for ITV.
  • Extensive experience preferred in media agency
