Company Profile
We are MassiveMusic, one of the leading music agencies in the world with offices in Amsterdam, Berlin, London, New York, Los Angeles, and Tokyo. Our mission? To help brands find their voice and tell their story through music. We produce and compose for the advertising, broadcast branding and interactive worlds, but also develop music strategies for global brands, provide music search and licensing services, create innovative activations, scout new talent – and throw a mean party every once in a while.

Our passion for music has not only ensured an award-winning reputation but makes it so much easier to jump out of bed each morning. MassiveMusic was founded in Amsterdam in 2000: since then we have proudly sprinkled our melodic magic on many of the world’s biggest brands.

Job Description
Our London office is on the lookout for a Senior Producer who will be responsible for running music productions from start to finish. In this role, you will be mainly responsible for producing world-class sonic brands, but you may also oversee other large scale commercial projects from sound for advertising campaigns, broadcast branding packages or musical activations.

You will be part of the Production department, reporting to the Music Production Director. Your team will vary – from Producers and Account Managers to Creative Strategists, both in London and other offices worldwide.

Depending on the project, you will receive briefs or you will design the brief yourself. You will source the right talent (composers, sound designers, musicians and vocalists), brief and work alongside them creatively to produce original music and sound design. From time to time, you may be involved in projects that require commercial music or talent. This will see you collaborate with rights holders or artist management to source and licence existing commercial music or commercial talent.

You’re a supernova of energy, passion and enthusiasm for music and life in general. You are obsessed with understanding the needs and possibilities of a project and have enviable organisation skills that allow you to command multiple projects concurrently. You will be as adept with a creative vision as you are with handling the project management, financial, contractual and legal side.

You have a firmly established book of advertising, brand marketing and creative industry contacts and will attract business and creative opportunities to MassiveMusic with your network. You get a buzz off the industry and - when the world allows - you will be keen to attend Massive events and other industry-related events and get-togethers. You also have solid relationships with a wide range of world-class composers, musicians and sound designers that you will be able to call on for projects at MassiveMusic.

People enjoy working with you because you bring fresh ideas to the table and always have a proactive solution to any challenge. You are fun to have around, which is great because all work and no play isn’t our thang. You are always one step ahead of the game: that’s why your friends and frenemies look to you for inspiration.

Skills and Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience working on sonic branding (or a combination of sonic branding and other music production) at a music agency at Producer level or higher
  • You have a deep working knowledge of the sonic branding process and its applications
  • You are highly proficient working within a DAW (Logic, Ableton, etc.)
  • Music production and video editing skills? That’s your daily bread
  • You have worked on music/sound with advertising agencies
  • You have working experience with clearing music rights from rights holders
  • You have the proven ability to maintain and develop client relationships
  • You’re a – excusez le cliché - team player who can work independently
  • You’re outgoing and have good communication skills
  • You don’t mind being challenged by your teams and clients
  • Naturally, you have music in your veins

Employment
Full time. What do you get in return? Inspiration, knowledge, career development and spiritual fulfilment. But if you insist on monetary reward too, then we can talk about our competitive financial package. Oh and, how could we forget, you get an international bunch of remarkable musically infused individuals to work with.

On this note, please know that MassiveMusic is an equal opportunities employer. Applicants will not be excluded on the grounds of sex, gender reassignment, pregnancy, maternity, race, marital status, disability, age, religion, belief or sexual orientation.

If after reading this you find yourself singing “Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy?”, that’s probably a sign you are our next Senior Producer. Ready to join the band? Apply in 3, 2, 1 via the link.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
