Our ambition for the design system is to power both consumer and customer facing platforms so this role will have exposure and involvement in multiple areas:
Consumer apps and sites
Design and build cross-platform components, guidelines, user interface kits and documentation in collaboration with other design teams
Work closely with engineering from the early stages of a project ensuring the feasibility of the design solutions proposed as well as the quality of the final output
Evangelise the art of craft, consistency and design language across all our platforms
Contribute to the design system documentation at all stages of the process, and actively share knowledge
You are right for the job if you...
Have proven experience building and delivering large scale design systems
Own great design skills: Hierarchy, typography, information design, iconography, colour theory, interaction patterns… Bonus points for motion skills
Own a deep knowledge of accessibility best practices
Are able to bring differing opinions and personalities together looking for sinergies and agreements
You have a strong rationale behind your design decisions and are able to articulate those both written and verbally
Can think big and small: Being able to have a helicopter view of projects and products, combined with an ability to craft the pixel
Are committed to quality outputs and high working standards while keeping your cool
Have a mindblowing folio of previous work
Are fluent with Figma and related design software
