As a Senior SEO Content Executive in the Financial Services team, you will be overseeing digital SEO content across a variety of brands, creating and owning initiatives to improve search visibility, drive audience growth and build deeper relationships with consumers and small businesses.
You'll collaborate across cross-functional teams to develop and deliver impactful content experiences.
What you’ll be doing:
  • Identify, plan and execute SEO content opportunities that demonstrate our financial services and SME expertise and drive engagement
  • Responsible for content optimisation execution across our brands, including headings, keyword strategy, internal linking, and demonstrating helpful content and E-E-A-T
  • Build new consumer and SME audiences with guides, content hubs, and transactional pages that target all touchpoints of the consumer journey
  • Commission detailed content briefs for external and internal writers to create new content and optimise existing content on-site
  • Assist the editorial team in writing, commissioning, proofreading and editing digital content
  • Collaborate with the editorial, SEO and Digital PR team to execute a content marketing strategy that ensures all content is helpful, authoritative and meets search engine best practices
  • Use SEO tools to conduct competitor analysis and keyword research to spot new content expansion opportunities and optimisation enhancement of existing content
  • Measure the effectiveness, success and performance of the content onsite
  • Ensure all content is consistent in terms of style, tone and voice
  • Explore and test new content formats including data visualisation and rich media assets
What you'll bring to the role:
  • Proficient knowledge of SEO and digital content best practices
  • Experience in the Financial Service Industry with market knowledge and expertise
  • Proven experience delivering compelling SEO content in a digital environment
  • Experience writing high-quality, engaging copy that’s mobile-first and optimised for SEO
  • Confident writing both confident writing UX copy; familiar with user journeys, wireframes and transactional content
  • Experience with SEO reporting tools like ahrefs, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEO Clarity, Screaming Frog
  • Proven ability to manage and execute content campaigns and deliver to a deadline
  • Working knowledge of SEO and content performance tools including data analysis and experience reporting on content metrics and KPIs to stakeholders
  • Experience with content management systems and online publishing
  • Rich content creation skills (video, infographics) and experience turning copy into compelling visuals
