This is a pivotal role within our business, so much so that you’ll be working closely with our Head of Strategy and our Managing Director to form and define the social media offering and execution for us as an agency and our clients.
This is a great chance to gain exposure to the agency as a whole, working with different teams to understand current social concepts, through to production and publication. You will have full ownership of the McDonald's Monopoly social media strategy and execution. Monopoly is one of the biggest projects we work on as an agency and as such this is a great opportunity to partner with the client to deliver, what is for them, also the biggest and most popular project they run! This role will also exercise your flair for new business as you will interpret briefs and work with internal teams on the pitch approach, always ensuring that our response is innovative, demonstrating our best practise capabilities.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE AGENCY
We are looking for a social media innovator, who is happy having senior strategic conversations, coupled with strong executional skill. You will have a best-practise mindset gained in an agency environment and be able to spot opportunities to join the dots and provide thought-leadership expertise.
Digging deeper on the details
Partnering with clients to create and deliver appropriate social media strategies.
Responsibility for managing TMS’s own social media marketing and strategy, looking at our core channels and external communications.
Review our social media new business strategy, interpreting new business briefs, planning and defining the pitch response.
Work with the Concept team and Creative Technologist to develop ideas, ensuring a joined-up approach.
Work on existing social media campaigns, understanding how this fits into their overall marketing strategy.
Desired Skills & Experience
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO HAVE
Proven experience as a Social Media Strategist, gained within an agency environment.
Experience having worked on a mixture of brands, Retail/FMCG global experience is preferred.
Genuine passion for social marketing and how this fits into wider digital marketing initiatives.
Great external client facing experience, able to deliver impactful new business ideas and the response to existing briefs.
Great internal communications experience, able to pull together teams, join the dots and spot areas for innovation.
Enviable multi-tasking skills, able to juggle multiple projects and prioritise.
Experience using Pulsar.
