Our products? We’ve started by reinventing tights. The world’s first sheer tights that don’t ladder. They’re also seamless, vegan, sag-free and luxuriously comfortable because if you’re going to reinvent tights you might as well do it right, right?
As part of our continued growth, we’re on the hunt for a driven, witty, social-media star to pioneer our social media strategy and marketing communications. You will work directly with the Chief Marketing Officer and Founders on the following:
Creating the strategy for, as well as managing the execution of all social media platforms, with a key focus on Instagram
Ensuring an aesthetically pleasing and on-brand Instagram feed, including managing regular content shoots for social
Creating daily, brand-relevant, Instagram stories
Content curation and creation across all platforms: Instagram, Twitter & LinkedIn
Working with a copywriter to ensure that all social media channels have appropriate captions, as well as being confident to write on the fly posts across all channels in our tone of voice (witty, punchy, dark humour)
Pro-actively suggesting changes to improve the look and feel of our social channels, the customer experience, engagement and growth
Remaining at the helm of current social media trends including aesthetic/ visual trends, GIF / hashtag trends, algorithm changes, and platform setting changes (yes, you should live and breathe social)
Engaging with followers/ brands/ fashion editors/ press on social media
Engaging with influencers on Instagram, including arranging collaborations and gifting, as well as monitoring the success of these activities
Reporting on social media metrics
Working with the CMO on the yearly campaigns calendar to identify event opportunities and brainstorm creative ways to connect with our audience
Managing our email marketing end-to-end, including writing punchy subject lines, email copy and call to action
Working with a designer to set up emails
Tracking and reporting on email results
We’re looking for a self-starter, you’re pro-active, take great pride in your work and really own your responsibilities. You will be 100% comfortable taking ownership of our social media channels and should have:
At least 3-5 years experience social media and email marketing
A proven track record in writing copy for social and email marketing. You should have a naturally witty and punchy copywriting style
An obsession with crafting the perfect Instagram feed
An eye for content curation, you should be able to clearly identify images that are, or are not, on-brand and ensure our social feeds maintain a consistent level of quality
Experience sourcing and engaging with brand-relevant influencers
Evidence of growing social media platform followers (especially Instagram)
A sense of (dark) humour that comes across in your communication
A strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
Experience in a fashion or online retail business
Experience using tools such as Mailchimp and Hootsuite
(Nice to have) some photography skills
Day-to-day at Hēdoïne is fast, fun (loads of laughs) and massively varied.
