Social Media Intern
What does this mean?
We are looking for a Part-Time Social & Community Intern who is creative, talented and passionate to support our team on all areas of social media in London. This role would provide excellent experience in the beauty and social media space for someone looking to build a career in this area.
Who we are?
AGORA is a beauty focused, social commerce application based in the UK. We are well funded and backed by leading European VCs. Launched in March 2020, AGORA is a mobile app dedicated to the beauty space that gives its Gen Z UK based users a safe space to share their beauty, skincare and wellness tips and reviews via shoppable content they create. Based in London, AGORA counts 15 team members hailing from McKinsey, Vogue, Charlotte Tilbury, Farfetch, Badoo, and Pokerstars. We're looking for someone who wants to work hard with a fun and tight-knit team!

Internship Details:
  • Part-time
  • Location: London, Paddington (can be remote)
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Duration: 3 months (potential for full-time offer based on performance)
Job Description:
  • Be part of AGORA’s team on the ground, driving our growth
  • Working hand in hand with the Head of Community to support in all topics
  • Oversee social media accounts (Instagram & TikTok)
  • Planning social content and maintaining the content calendar ensuring social media content is regular, relevant and engaging.
  • Propose, support, design and implement social media content initiatives to grow our channels
Essential requirements:
  • An instinct for spotting viral videos and social media trends (specifically on TikTok)
  • Confident on camera with a keen interest in beauty (makeup & skincare)
  • Up to date with popular culture and social trends
  • Able to multitask in all aspects of social media. Taking full responsibility for different tasks, from design to community management
  • Comfortable multitasking and working in a high paced & demanding environment
  • Finished or completing Bachelors/Masters degree (no degree of preference)
  • VERY strong writing skills with the ability to write engaging content for various audiences
  • Have a sense of humor, a quick-wit, and a creative mind
  • BONUS: Proficient in Photoshop or similar
