Your brief will be to activate Red Bull’s events, athletes, key artists and website across the UK. You’ll sit in the social team with the Social Media Manager and Head of Social Media and be responsible for maximising engagement with Red Bull properties and increasing reach while managing your own projects. You’ll be expected to come up with brilliant and innovative ideas, which go beyond standard social media executions, with the ambition to achieve firsts in social marketing and establish Red Bull as a market leader.

Be part of knowledge-sharing sessions.
Look for opportunities to spread Red Bull’s message into new areas (platforms, communities etc), and work with the wider Social Media team on ideas to achieve wider team goals.
Actively seek out innovations to help achieve world firsts.
Create content to be published across social channels to create native engagement, push to other parts of our media network and support marketing initiatives such as events, athlete/artist support and brand campaigns.
Help develop and ideate new social media formats and content ideas.
Search for existing content which can be used across our channels.
Work with respective Audience Editors to ensure that posting schedule strategies exist and are executed across all designated verticals and channels.
Help the wider AD&P Team to improve posting on social and achieve better results.
Analytics and Insights
Drive the data agenda for social media, through tools and marketing initiatives.
Track and report on performance, and continually optimise strategy and delivery.
Develop testing strategies to support new insights, recommendations and optimisations.
Demonstrate social media ROI to ensure on-going investment and integration into all business plan.
Past experience of working in social media and managing channels. Ideally for broadcasters or content producers.
An understanding of what content works on social.
Strong written communication and accuracy.
A strong editorial sense.
Experience of working for a media publisher and driving traffic to editorial sites would be desirable.
Experience in building and engaging existing communities as well as reaching out and attracting new ones.
The ability to act quickly and react to trending topics and stories.
Knowledge of content marketing and social media tools, such as listening and publishing tools.
Confident in presenting strategies and influencing key decision-makers.
Experience in using photo editing software (e.g. Photoshop).
Experience in using video editing software (e.g. Premiere).
A determination to experiment and try new things before anyone else.
