This role will report directly to the Head of Content and will be based in our London office;
Edit fresh and fast paced original and high-quality video content across multiple social platforms. We need punchy stories!
Responsible for the organisation, ingest, transcoding, backup, archival, QC and documentation of all footage across a busy post production team
Create, update and develop engaging special assets that live for our social communities - Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat plus more
Manage multiple edits and projects at the same time
Share and create innovative creative concepts across lots of different video content helping to develop and ensure the style, quality and TOV of our video
Bring your ideas for imagery, music and video content to current and future projects
Find the best music and sound effects for a given project, using a production music database
Social platforms are fast paced, so be ready for lots of content and fast timelines
Be the go to person when it comes to latest trends in social video on all platforms
Be trained on all the new editing software and hardware so you can ensure the teams are always learning
Share all the great things you know and be a champion for innovative branded and editorial video
As the specialist you will have:
Solid experience within the editorial and branded content world creating highly engaging social first video content
In depth training on Adobe Creative Suite - with particular high-level knowledge of Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop and Media Encoder
A good amount of training on DaVinci Resolve
Lots and Lots of experience in creative video editing with a story telling mindset
The ability to complete in data wrangling, ingest settings, transcoding, video codecs and formats in your sleep
You know how to archive video through media asset management systems
Be the most organised in the central edit server
Good level of experience in colour correction and creative colour grading.
Confidence in motion graphics creation.
Be passionate for visual storytelling across Freeda’s pillars: Personal style, Female Achievement and Sisterhood
