The business is growing and internationalising rapidly, particularly experiencing growth in the US across both D2C and wholesale channels.
This role helps with administrative tasks across our Sourcing team. As part of our team you will gain a broad understanding of our end to end sourcing process, ensuring organised development of products, accurate recording of data and timely delivery of orders to our warehouses. This is an entry level role, with full support from Sourcing Managers.
Main Areas of Responsibility
As a Sourcing Administrator at Papier, you will support all elements of the sourcing process, from initial product development through to deliveries to warehouse.
This encompasses the following: data management, barcode creation,  and product order raising, sample management and supplier communication.
Sample Management
  • Play a supporting role in the process to produce, manage and distribute samples for both our online operation and wholesale
  • Note-take in sample review meetings
  • Contribute to sample comments and ideas
  • Production sample checks and sign off with Senior Sourcing Manager
  • Organisation of samples in the office
Data Management
  • Seek and record accurate product information data from our suppliers
  • Update and maintain internal sheets accurately (Product Master/Notion)
  • Provide necessary data to other teams in a timely manner
  • Barcodes
  • Work with our Design team to generate barcodes and labels for suppliers
  • Check suppliers barcodes and carton labels accurately
SKU & PO Raising
  • Set up new products in internal sheets and Netsuite
  • Raise orders in Netsuite
  • Record all product and PO information accurately
  • PO tracker
  • Master
Supplier communication
  • Record & send sample feedback to suppliers
  • Note-taking in our supplier meetings and input where necessary
  • Responding to emails in a timely manner - asking team for advice as needed
  • Prioritise China/Vietnam in mornings
  • Prioritise US in evenings
General ad hoc support for the sourcing team, as and when required
Requirements
  • You will have excellent excel skills and enjoy following processes and procedures.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise workloads
  • Great communication skills are a must as cross functional & 3rd party communication will be required
  • A problem solver with a can do attitude
  • Incredible attention to detail and a desire for best practise
