At Penguin Random House Audio, the UK's leading audiobook publisher, we are dedicated to making the best audiobooks on the market. Working with exceptional acting talent - from Benedict Cumberbatch to Sian Clifford - we create award-winning audiobooks.
We've had a #1 in the Audible charts on over 50 occasions, most recently with The Handmaid's Tale narrated by Elisabeth Moss, The Secret Commonwealth narrated by Michael Sheen and Heroes narrated by Stephen Fry.
We are about to open Penguin Studios, the best new audiobook studio in London. In order to do that we looking for a Studio Manager to join us to take responsibility for organising our studios as well as getting stuck into producing some of our titles themselves.
This is an exciting time to join a fast-paced and growing team that is setting a precedent for innovative and ground-breaking work. We are regularly recognised at industry awards and showcases (APAs, New York Festival Radio Awards, Audies and The Nibbies) for our trademark creativity, and the top-notch quality of our audiobooks.
This role requires consistent organisation to ensure the scheduling and delivery of audio recordings are managed to the highest standard. Scheduling of studio time across our studios, and ensuring everything is in the right place at the right time for each recording will require you to be prepared, attentive and thorough in your approach.
You will also need to be comfortable working with talent and high profile narrators, ensuring they have the best experience possible every time they work with Penguin Random House - especially in recordings you will be producing. We will need you to be alive to each narrator's requirements, zealous about the projects you're creating and always focused on the prospect of producing yet another fantastic audiobook.
So if you're organised, creative, and most importantly passionate about audio and excited by the prospect of establishing a new role within this fast-growing and high profile area of the business, we'd love to hear from you!
Please apply with your CV and cover letter by 17th November 2019.
