ITV Creative is an in-house ad-agency that is responsible for creating and producing on-air and off-air communications for the ITV brand portfolio. It also produces work for external clients.
Responsible for over £275 million worth of airtime, this department is a mix of creatives (broadcast, print and digital), designers, producers, traffic, continuity and post production. Integrated thinking is applied to create outstanding work for all media: on-air, off-air, digital, product/event design and experiential.
ITV Creative works in close collaboration with Marketing, Media Planning, and Audiences, as well as the ITV technical divisions - Transmission, Scheduling, and other areas of the business such as ITV Studios and ITV Commercial.
The Team Producer's core role is to support the production of clipbased campaigns for all ITV networks. Working closely with marketing, traffic and our creative team. Delivering campaigns on time and on budget.
Working within the team, the Team Producer will produce campaigns and projects for all areas of the business
Maintaining good day to day relations with the whole ITV Creative team, external companies and wider ITV teams.
Liaising with Traffic and Marketing to work to the campaign timings provided; booking and managing facility bookings alongside the Post Production Traffic Manager when using internal facilities; managing approval sessions where appropriate; overseeing end to end production of all assets from promos, reels to any other assets needed, ensuring delivery on time and on budget; updating Head of Campaign Production on any issues & working to resolve them.
Attend weekly status meeting to ensure communication with the wider team on any issues related to the output.
Working closely with the Head of Campaign Production and wider production team, ensuring best production practices are followed across the whole team and consistent use of the Marketing systems eg ITV Phoenix.
Collaborating with all the relevant ITV teams ensuring processes are efficient and reviewed regularly until bedded in especially around the delivery and management of assets outside of the UK.
Assisting as Production Manager/ Production Co-ordinator on larger campaigns as allocated by the Producer, while ensuring that day to day tasks are also completed.
Ensuring relevant programme material is sourced and clips are fully cleared, liaising with libraries and production companies when necessary.
Working very closely with internal ITV compliance, to ensure all promos adhere to the correct regulations and compliance codes.
Ensuring legal contracts and NDAs are completed for all freelance staff & projects where relevant.
Supporting the freelancers working within the team and providing day to day admin support eg raising purchase orders, setting up freelancer log ins, processing invoices for any freelance resource on projects, in collaboration with the producer and traffic assistant.
Being a key member of the Production and Operations Team striving for creative excellence and bringing discipline and rigour as well as sharing knowledge to ensure the application of best practices across the department.
Experience in a production or creative environment essential.
Highly motivated, strong team player, with excellent organisational and communication skills and attention to detail
Able to work in a collaborative way with peers and stakeholders within ITV
Ability to work to tight deadlines, manage multiple projects and prioritise workload
Good computer literacy (MAC and PC)
Some knowledge of tape, film and digital formats, shooting and delivery
Experience managing an offline edit suite, online post, colour grading, graphics and audio
Ability to liaise with marketing and other ITV departments on all elements of a project
Ability to bring tasks to timely conclusion in professional and thorough manner
Ability to work under pressure, in a reactive environment with constant change
Recognising key relationships and making conscious effort to build rapport and strong working relationships across business areas
Confidence to recognise and deal with arising problems in a professional manner
