This Stylist role is responsible for creating aspirational outfitting for our e-commerce photography. The stylist is a key creative contributor to the UO Europe MW + WW brand image, and must have a strong pro active desire to constantly refine and improve our imagery by producing exciting and desirable outfitting which follows global brand guidelines. They must maintain in-depth knowledge of current brand identity and future direction, as well as be aware of current trends within fashion. The studio environment relies heavily on teamwork and this role plays a key part in collaboration and communication within the styling team and on-set atmosphere so must be a team player.
Work with Senior Stylist to develop the presentation of our WW + MW e-commerce outfitting with the aim of creating aspirational looks within the guidelines of Urban Outfitters Global creative standards.
Style with on set e-commerce team including model, photographer, and HMU to deliver online product imagery that accurately depicts clothing and is styled according to brand standards.
Execute as needed the styling of still-life web photography product including footwear and accessories.
Develop an excellent understanding of the distinct identities of our in-house sensibilities as well as the external brands we carry.
Attend our seasonal buying presentations as well as independently research trends both from the catwalk and inspiration drawn from street fashion to inform styling decisions and ensure our presentation is consistently current and engaging.
Work with our Senior Stylist and studio manager to rack up e-commerce intake each week according to the shoot schedule
Develop and organise an appropriate range of styling pieces for our studio wardrobe
Action any re-shoot requests deemed appropriate and necessary.
Work with our Senior Stylist to develop our E-commerce Style Guide for use as a reference and training tool, ensuring it is kept up to date and commercially relevant.
Communicate with merchant team regarding feedback on styling pertaining to sales performance on individual styles and categories.
