We are recruiting a Menswear & Lifestyle PR Coordinator for Europe & Emerging Markets, to promote and protect the company’s image by securing press coverage which supports the retail network as well as the continued growth and success of the online business. This role will focus on supporting our menswear offer, as well as home, tech and lifestyle products.
Support the PR Manager in establishing PR as a core channel through which to tell our brand story
Overseeing the daily running of the press office with the help of the Womenswear & Beauty PR Coordinator
Proactively target both commercial and emerging Menswear + Homeware media to secure strategic and timely positive coverage.
Create weekly newsletters to target short lead and digital media to promote newness across Menswear, Men’s accessories and Homeware
Accommodate all Menswear, men’s accessories and Homeware sample and image requests for press and influencers
Actively build new and develop existing relationships with press and influencers, holding regular face to face meetings
PR database management with the help of the Womenswear & Beauty PR Coordinator
Daily coordination with our German PR agency, providing assets where relevant
Writing and circulating press releases for upcoming product drops and brand moments
Work closely with the EU buying & design teams to ensure press activity promotes key drivers, first to market trends and key brand stories.
Close collaboration with the wider marketing team for social media moments, brand partnerships and events; ensuring clear and consistent communication of the brand
Monitor coverage gained across all channels, producing weekly and monthly PR recaps
Responsible for the hiring of the PR intern with support of Womenswear & Beauty PR Coordinator
Oversee the day to day jobs of the PR Intern (sample management, database management, admin support)
Coordinate PR events with the support of the team including Press Day, launch events and new store openings.
Must possess UK press contacts at mid-junior level across men’s fashion and lifestyle titles
A deep understanding of the UO brand, product and customer mindset.
Excellent written & verbal communication skills: must be able to present and inspire!
2-4 years PR experience either in-house or agency
Ability to identify trends: Have finger on the pulse of relevant lifestyle trends, fashion and culture.
Excellent media awareness and a genuine interest in all facets of media
Experience building awareness and discovery through both traditional and non-traditional PR strategies
Exceptional project management, process management and organization skills. Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate efforts across a large organization (both internally and externally).
Ability to interact effectively in a complex organization. Must be able to establish excellent working relationships and communication with individuals and teams at various levels and from various fields of expertise.
