The role:
We’re looking for a freelance US-based Marketing Manager to create desire for our premium audio equipment and take ownership of our marketing strategy and execution in America.
You will be responsible for implementing and monitoring all campaigns in order to drive desire for and interest in our product and in turn, sales. You will also be responsible for reports on campaign effectiveness. As such we’re looking for someone who’s really tuned in to the consumer audio industry and has a solid understanding of our customer base. Ideally you’ll have a passion for quality audio equipment and will therefore be familiar with the local market, actively consuming local media and product reviews, maybe following relevant social media forums and blogs and keeping up to date with industry news. It goes without saying that you need to have a love of music to do this job well and with a passion.
Our HQ in the UK will drive campaigns and creative ideas centrally, however, these will need localization and translation in a thoughtful and effective way. As the US market is different to the UK, it will also require you to come up with and drive original ideas appropriate to the market.
As this is a virtual position, the successful applicant will be results driven and comfortable working autonomously. You will have proven experience of delivering successful marketing experiences across all marcomms channels, as well as a demonstrable track record of delivering profitable sales. You will be highly motivated with excellent commercial acumen.
Key responsibilities:

  • Analyse regional industry trends and demand for audio equipment and create a strategy to market our products.
  • Own and execute marketing communications plans, ensuring they are accurate, timely, on budget and strategically aligned.
  • Create and maintain strong relationships with key business leaders and functions.
