GroupM provides products and services to the GroupM agencies. These range from technology solutions through to training programmes. Conceptually the GroupM team exists to facilitate efficiencies in the Agencies themselves and provide thought leadership to them.
The Media Team is one of the core units in GroupM with a primary focus on the digital space. Teams within this department drive strategies, technology innovation, efficiency and new revenue across the digital environment working closely with the different Agency teams. The core aim is to allow agencies to have their individual USPs whilst using the size and buying power of the combined group to drive more cost-effective and better managed deals.
The Media Team is an extension of trading. It services the media needs of trading companies like Xaxis, Amobee, Finecast and Programmatic Services. This group use the size and reach of the trading desks buys to negotiate the best terms with all media partners (publishers) to drive media strategy for each unit (and the advertisers they service). This is across video, display, native, and includes executional practise via programmatic guaranteed.
Specifically, this role sits within GroupM Premium Supply (GPS) Team for Video, working primarily on behalf of Finecast.
The role will sit within the GPS Video team providing product, data and tech operational support to our broadcaster, CTV and digital publisher relationships. The role of the Platform Operations team is to support our existing relationships, driving them forward by working with our partners to develop new solutions and refine our technical integrations.
Internally, the Product Operations Executive will work closely with GPS Video Commercial Operations and Finecast. Externally, this role will liaise with both GPS’ supply partners and tech providers – primarily The Addressable Platform Ltd.
The ideal candidate may have up to two years exposure to working within digital broadcasting and/or digital video within the programmatic space. However, enthusiastic and interested graduates who are looking for a start to their digital media career would also be suitable for the role.
Support the delivery and day-to-day management of video integrations with our supply partners
Develop expertise across GPS Video’s tech stack; including but not limited to Amobee and Finecast
Monitor delivery and performance of the supply partners and be responsible for flagging potential areas of improvement
Own the day-to-day technical relationship with the digital publishers
Support the Product Operations Manager on integrating new partners and on technical projects
Operational set up of publishers and placements within GPS’ Supply Side Platform
Collaborate with GPS Video Investment team on understanding and actioning inventory changes within our Supply Side Platform
Develop the skills to provide front-line troubleshooting for any technical issues that may arise
Provide cross-team technical support to internal commercial, product, account management and analytics teams
Work with the GPS and Finecast Analytics teams on ensuring that we are receiving the appropriate data from our supply partners
In conjunction with the Product Operations Manager and Head of Video Operations facilitate knowledge sharing and best practice across the wider GPS Video and Finecast Operations teams
Assist in the compilation and maintenance of team documentation for internal and external use
Effectively report upwards to the Product Operations Manager, Head of Video Operations and key stakeholders within the company as appropriate

Experience with digital video and an understanding of the video ecosystem may be advantageous
