Visual Creative Developer

Start Date February 1st

THE POSITION
As a Visual Creative Developer, you will be part of the Brand & Marketing team here at Monki. You will be responsible for creating global visual window concepts in order to enhance the customers shopping experience, maximize selling and strengthen the Monki brand. You will lead a team of two people consisting of; a Window visual and a Visual buyer but you will work closely with ADs, Copywriters, Creative Director and Fashion Director to secure campaign and activity ideas. Your job is to lead by example, you will be driven by our values and the ambition to make people and the business grow. You will show others the way to progress through great teamwork based on a professional attitude and our brand values: to be friendly, brave, fun and empowering—and to feel empowered to be the best you can be.
YOU
As a Visual Creative Developer, you should ideally have a couple of years of experience from a similar role – it’s a huge plus if you have experience in Art Direction, Set design/3D design, Visual merchandising, Creative visual (concept and 3D design). An education in Visual merchandising or equivalent is an advantage. As is previous experience in working with following programs: Indesign: Google sketch up: Photoshop and Illustrator. In addition, we believe that you have the following qualities:•You are proactive, have the ability to organize, prioritize and make things happen. •Your leadership skills are great. Previous management experience will be required.•You are strong in visual ideas, concept and implementation. •You are amazing at communicating ideas to people in a decisive but kind way. •You need to be able to thrive in a fast-moving organization. You aren’t afraid to switch between long-term strategy work and driving current needs. •As a person you need to be able to hold your own and play well in a team (you’re joining an awesome one) and be passionate about what you do.
