We are looking to appoint six Young Freelancers to deliver aspects of our programme over the course of a year-long professional development programme.
A Young Freelancer is a development role for any young person aged 18-25 who is passionate about creative learning and museums. Young Freelancers work on an ad-hoc project by project basis supporting the delivery of activities across the museum, this could include jobs like supporting other staff to deliver a family storytelling session or working with an artist to deliver a drama workshop to young people.
Young Freelancers receive support and training from the museum’s Young People’s Skills Programme whilst learning on the job and a mentor for the duration of their role. LTM Young Freelancers will also have the opportunity to work at other organisations in the cultural and heritage sector across London, giving you opportunities to develop a strong portfolio of experience and a great network.
